Un-Load is a solo tool for one partner taking on a piece of the household mental load. This page says what we store, who can see it, and how you leave.
What we store
Your email and password (the password is hashed by Supabase Auth). Your first name and your partner's first name, the diagnostic answers, the experiment you chose, daily check-ins including any notes, tasks, and reminder preferences — plus, if you turn them on, a phone number, a calendar connection, and your doer’s memories. Check-in notes are treated as personal data. In this beta your partner has no account and cannot see your notes.
Who can see it
You. The doer acts as you, through your own login, so the same row-level rules apply. Un-Load facilitators can see how you are using the product — the days you checked in and whether you showed up, task counts, and whether reminders were delivered — so they can help people who get stuck, and they may send you a message in the app or, if you turned SMS on, by text. They do not see what you write: not your check-in notes, diagnostic answers, doer conversations or phone number. The one exception is yours to make: if you choose a facilitator in Settings and turn on note sharing, they can read your check-in notes until you turn it off. If you choose a facilitator, they also see what the doer prepared for you (plans, drafts, acts waiting on your tap) and what it remembers, so they can check its work, and they can read and work your task list — adding tasks, marking them done and letting them go — on your behalf. Anything a facilitator added or closed is labelled as theirs in your list. They cannot log your check-ins. Switching back to doing it on your own ends all of this immediately. Every facilitator view, message and task change is logged. Operators with the database service role can reach data to run and debug the product. We do not sell data, and we do not share check-in notes with a partner in this version.
Events we record
When analytics is on we record product events such as "checked in" or "task created", with no names, emails, or note text attached. That is how we learn whether the daily loop is working.
Leaving
Settings → Account lets you download a copy of your data or delete your account. Deleting removes your household from the app and then your login. Email us if something gets stuck.
